Double/twin room with ensuite shower/wc per night - 95 euros.
Single room with private shower/wc per night - 85 euros.
This includes your breakfast of fresh-baked bread and pastries, fruit, home-made jams, local honey, ham, cheeses, yoghurt, juices and glorious ground coffee or tea - oh, and a complimentary bottle of Le Couvent wine.
Making a booking
Please telephone or email to check availability. Once we have confirmed availability then Booking Conditions apply.
Booking conditions
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the stay is required to confirm the booking. This deposit is not transferable if you decide to cancel your booking and subsequently make another booking.
Prices
Prices quoted are per room per night, in a room with an en-suite or private shower room, and include breakfast.
Check-in time
Your room will be available between 12 noon and 1pm or after 4.30pm. We will ask you for your approximate arrival time when you make your booking.
Check-out time
10am on the day of departure.
Confirming a booking
We will send you an electronic invoice via PayPal for the non-refundable deposit of 25% of your total stay. Settlement of this invoice confirms your booking. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received.
Cancelling a booking
If you wish to cancel your booking at any time prior to your visit we will retain your non-refundable booking deposit but we do not charge you for the balance of your stay.
If you wish to cancel part of your booking after having arrived we will retain your non-refundable booking deposit and charge you for the balance of the stay we had originally confirmed.
If you do not turn up and fail to notify us we will assume you do not require the room. We retain the right to re-let the room at which point it will not be available to you. We will retain your non-refundable booking deposit, whatever the circumstances.
A reservation is a contract in law. If your circumstances are such that you think you may have to cancel your booking, we suggest that you take out travel insurance.
Fly to Beziers Cap d'Agde (30 minutes away), Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassone or Perpignan airports (between 1 to 1 and a half hours away) and hire a car. (Toulouse and Barcelona/Girona airports are about 2 and a half hours away.)

Central France accommodation, a great stopping point if you are on your way to Le Couvent, Roujan in the Pezenas area of Languedoc. Appletons B & B is situated in the Centre region of France just off the A20 Paris / Toulouse Auto Route, 6 ½ hrs from Calais, dinner is served nightly. Comfortable beds await you so you are assured of a restful sleep, ready for your drive to Le Couvent in the morning.
Whichever way you come, head towards Pezenas, then follow the signs to Roujan. When you get to Roujan go straight past the wine co-operative (the big pink building which will be on your left) up a hill until you get to another crossroads where you will see a bar with brightly coloured umbrellas. Turn right towards Neffies. You are now less than a minute away. Drive past the little wizened palm-trees, wiggle through the narrow bit, and straight ahead is a fork in the road. Bear left at the fork. We're about 10m along on the left at the big grey gates. There is no on-site parking at Le Couvent but there is plenty of space on the streets. Ring the buzzer. Welcome.
