365 - a photo a day

From 19 July 2009 to 18 July 2010 I have taken a photo a day on an iPhone. Each photo was (for the most part) taken in and around Le Couvent and uploaded immediately. The most recent photos appear first. It was especially for all those people who ask us what we do for the seven months that we're closed.

It's been great fun to think of something to photograph each day, and occasionally I've reached the end of the day and realised that I haven't done it - at which point I have had to scrabble around the house looking for something to capture. This process has made me more observant, but not necessarily a better photographer. Occasionally I have taken photos that I really treasure. The iPhone does not have a spectacular resolution, but you can take some very atmospheric photos with it. I urge you to do something similar; it's been a truly pleasurable experience for me and it just goes to show that The Best Camera Is the One That's With You.
